ROWLAND HOUSE is a 4-star VisitBritain graded Bed and Breakfast where a warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

Situated in a quiet location and within easy walking distance of the city centre (5 minutes), and the University of Chester (2 minutes) Rowland House is situated in an enviable location for all the city attractions and amenities, including Chester Racecourse which is only a 7 minute walk away.

We offer mid-week breaks, weekend stays or just an overnight stay making us the perfect choice for guests attending the university, on business, visiting family or friends or just wanting to explore Chester and its surrounding areas.

A choice of breakfast is served in our cosy front of house dining room, with gas effect coal fire to keep you warm on chilly winter mornings, vegetarian and all special dietary needs are catered for, just let us know when you book.

Off road parking is available.

We have three double/twin rooms, two with en-suite and one with a large private shower room.

Room 1 – large double with super luxury king size bed (6ft x 6ft6”) and extra large shower room which has a double shower enclosure.

Room 2 – Large double with king size bed (6ft x 6ft) which can also be used as a twin room with a standard en-suite.

Room 3 – double with 5ft king size bed and its own large PRIVATE shower room.

All rooms have 32” wall mounted plasma TV’s with freeview stations and radio, clock radio alarm, hospitality tray, hair dryer, towels, complimentary toiletries, central heating, ironing facilities on request and WIFI.

Rooms 2 and 3 can be single rooms, single occupancy is from £50-00, please telephone to make an enquiry or to book.
