Delamere Forest Golf Course

Founded in 1910, tradition remains a consistent part of the Delamere golf course. The original designs by WH Fowler have remained untouched and full advantage has been made of the natural, severely-undulating contours of the heathland course.

The opening 5 holes are notorious for their unforgiving, unapologetic difficulty. The 5th, in particular, is a true test of nerve, patience, accuracy and concentration.

From an uphill tee shot, the approach to the green is left guarded by ponds in front of, and left of it, resulting in one of the hardest holes to play in the country.

Facilities include bar, trolley hire, catering, clubhouse, buggy hire, pro shop, showers and changing rooms.
