Cheshire Segway

At Cheshire Segway we aim to provide you with the best training and guidance available on a Segway PT (Personal Transporter). In offering you the expert training it will enable you to gain more from your Segway Experience and will ensure the most enjoyment possible on a Segway PT leaving you with a memory to cherish.
Segway PTs are available for courses suitable for all pockets and time, corporate events and party experiences (subject to terms and conditions).

Arrive & Glide
This option is for those of you who are just passing and perhaps would like to give it a go to see if you like it or perhaps planning to use one abroad and would like to get full training before you go.

On arrival you will be expected to read some safety literature and a safety helmet will be provided. Once you are ready your instructor will take you to your Segway PT and instruct you on how to mount, dismount, move forward, stop and turn in both directions. Once a short laid out training course has been completed, to help you master the Segway PT, you will then be shown onto the main course, which is full of lots of twists and turns and small hazards along the way to enable you to put all your skills to the test. Whilst on the Segway PT you will also be offered any help and support you may need to include perhaps going up and down hills. This is a taster Segway session so after a few laps unaided your session will end leaving you hungry for more!

Woodland Tour

At Cheshire Segway we want to offer you choice. Some like it simpler, some like it more challenging, and with this in mind we have put together a woodland course using our very own wood full of twist and turns, suitable for all those adrenaline junkies out there. Once again you receive our full training as described in the Arrive and Glide taster sessions and once your basic session is over you will be guided by your Instructor through the Blakemere Craft Centre and into the woods.

This woodland course has been specially designed to make the most of your skills and will turn you into a competent Segway PT rider in no time at all. Watch for those low branches though, remember Segway PT’s can be dangerous in the wrong hands so keep an eye out. Your Segway PT Woodland experience will last approximately one hour and will leave you wanting more!

Whitegate Way

If you are looking for an alternative experience on a Segway PT then why not go for our Whitegate Way Guided Tour. Once your basic training has been completed as described in the Arrive and Glide session you will then be taken from Blakemere Craft Centre and through our very own wood. Once out of the wood we will take you along a track which offers you great views over the Cheshire Countryside and then onto the Whitegate Way, a former railway line running from Winsford to Cuddington. You will see some amazing views, being slightly elevated whilst riding a Segway PT. Taking in the old Station House, where we will have a slight rest we will then return to Blakemere Craft Centre, thrilled by your experience on our X2 Segway PTs and there versatility.

On this tour we try to offer you a little bit of everything and you will be amazed at how quickly you pick up the control of a Segway PT. This experience will last approx ninety minutes and will leaving you wanting more!
