Cheshire Chutney Co originally began due to repeated requests from customers for the handmade drizzle, chutney and jams used on the menu at Nick & Jills’ licensed café.
These initial products proved so popular, that Nick took to the kitchen to produce a wider range for retailing and so Cheshire Chutney Co was born in January 2011.
Since then the range has developed and expanded through popular demand and Nick is constantly searching for even more tasty combinations.

To ensure they can fulfill demand and continue to develop this range they have now closed the cafe and have a dedicated, full time ‘Chutney kitchen’ in Ellesmere Port where the Cheshire Chutney Co. range continues to be handmade each day. They work with local community, commercial growers and wholesalers to have the pick of the local crop often making the jam the same day the berries are picked so consumers can be assured of full product traceability.
